Since it is not working with the latest version, i would like a better version for windows 8. If you did a clean install: go to sources on the Windows 7 DVD and open install.wim using 7-Zip. Copy the recovered Purble Place folder somewhere convenient. Download a hex editor (e.g. Open PurblePlace.exe in the hex editor. Purble Place will now run on Windows 8 and later.
